The premise

Children of Kaera’s soul

Long ago the Mother of Magic gave her body to become the Weave that runs through all things. Shards of her soul struck the earth — and hatched the first griffins, the Griffus Magicka. Every one is born with a gift all its own.

You are the Archon of a Griffin Hold: a mountain roost of a thousand nests. Raise the hatchlings, perform the cradle ritual, and send your griffins out to hold back the Darkening.

The Soul Bond

A Griffin Matriarch marks a newborn and a hatchling as kin for life. The bond only holds for noble, true hearts — so choose your riders well.

Bloodlines & gifts

Gifts run in the blood: a pearlescent glow, uncommon speed, rare and towering size. Pair the right lineages and hatch a legend of your own.

The living sanctuary

Grow from a handful of nests to a full Hold — hatchery, alchemy room, market. When a griffin’s time comes it returns to Kaera, and a new youngling hatches from its essence.
