Tale One
Just a Little Farther
Adam and Solara slip out at first light, while Stormhold is still sleeping. Just as far as the wall. Then just as far as the gate. Then just a little farther.

K-WORLD · AGES 3+
The first collection of gentle stories from the Golden Age of Kaedral — three young royals, three baby griffins, and one very good reason to stay awake five more minutes.
THE BOOK
Volume One gathers the first Bedtime Tales into one book. Each tale is a short illustrated story set in the Golden Age of Kaedral — the kingdom is safe, the sun still shines on the South, and the biggest adventure in a child's day is a griffin who will not settle down for the night.
The stories follow Prince Adam, Princess Tereza, and Kaya in the year their griffins have just come home from the mountains: lap-sized, fledgling, and full of trouble. Twelve to sixteen spreads a tale, written to be read aloud in one sitting, with a refrain a child can join in on and a closing line they will start saying back to you.
Wonder over peril, warmth over stakes, and every tale ends with someone fast asleep.
INSIDE THE BOOK
Soft light, small griffins, and a kingdom where nothing worse than bedtime is coming.
INSIDE VOLUME ONE
Tale One
Adam and Solara slip out at first light, while Stormhold is still sleeping. Just as far as the wall. Then just as far as the gate. Then just a little farther.
Tale Two
An origin tale: the night a small girl is chosen by a griffin marked with a six-pointed star, and nothing in Kaedral is quite ordinary again.
Tale Three
Prince Adam's griffin is sure she's ready for the sky. She is not. A story about patience, soft landings, and trying again tomorrow.
